ENGINEER, INSTRUCTORJames has been engaged in all things audio for over 14 years. As a teenager he began recording and mixing local bands from his parents basement in New York. From there his passion for recording lead him to Berklee College of Music where he graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Music Production & Engineering. James soon left Boston for the beautiful Northwest, settling in Seattle, Washington. These days James enjoys working on a wide variety of projects including music, sound design, field recording, dialogue recording and editing, and game audio implementation. As an educator, James has taught classes for the University of Washington, The Experience Music Project, the Rock School and is currently the lead ProTools instructor at Seattle's first Digidesign authorized training facility, MediaLab/Seattle. When he’s not at Glenn Sound you may find him mixing live instudio performances for KEXP 90.3FM, lending a hand at The Vera Project, or off in some strange place pointing a mic at something......or he might just be at home playing video games. |
