After graduating from fancy pants music school (Berklee College of Music) with a degree in Music Production & Engineering, James escaped Boston to the Pacific Northwest. Over the past few years he has burrowed his way into the Seattle recording community as an engineer and educator. James has recently been honing his teaching skills, working with students from EMP and the University of Washington.  As an engineer James works with Glenn Sound and Microsoft's MediaLab gaming department, while maintaining a healthy rotation of freelance work including mixing live on-air radio performances at Seattle’s 90.3 KEXP (kexp.org).  James also volunteers his skills at local All-Ages Arts Venue, The Vera Project.  (veraproject.org) 

James is a certified Pro Tools Instructor, one of just a few qualified instructors in the Pacific Northwest.

In his free time James enjoys video games, traveling, skiing, and playing music.
